Who We Are

The San Bernardino District of the Church of Pentecost – California Region is a vibrant and growing Christian community committed to raising Christ-centered believers and impacting our communities through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Our district is composed of three dynamic assemblies:

  • PIWC Riverside Church
  • Temecula Grace Church
  • San Bernardino Assembly Church

Together, we serve as one body with a unified vision—to bring people into a life-transforming relationship with Jesus Christ and equip them to live purposeful, Spirit-led lives.

Our Core Beliefs (Tenets of Faith)

We believe in the divine inspiration and authority of the Holy Scriptures. The Bible is infallible, final in authority, and sufficient for all matters of faith and life (2 Timothy 3:16–17; 1 Peter 1:20–21).

We believe in one eternal God, revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—equal in essence and power, omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent (Genesis 1:1; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).

All humanity has sinned and is in need of redemption through repentance and regeneration (Romans 3:23; John 3:3).
Salvation Through Jesus Christ.

We believe salvation is found only in Jesus Christ—through His death, resurrection, and ongoing intercession (John 14:6; Romans 5:1).

Salvation requires repentance, faith in Christ, and transformation through the Holy Spirit, resulting in a holy and righteous life.

Baptism by immersion (age of accountability)
Holy Communion for believers in fellowship

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues, and the operation of spiritual gifts and fruit.

We believe in the return of Christ, resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.

We believe in faithful giving as an act of worship and obedience.

We believe in healing through Christ, while also affirming medical care by qualified professionals.

Evangelism

Sharing the Gospel is the responsibility of every believer. We are committed to reaching both local and global communities through Spirit-led evangelism.

Discipleship 

We train believers to grow in Christlikeness through teaching, mentorship, and practical Christian living.

Prayer

Prayer is central to our faith. Our services emphasize worship, intercession, and the work of the Holy Spirit.

Ministry of the Holy Spirit

We depend on the Holy Spirit for guidance, empowerment, and transformation in all aspects of life and ministry.

Ministry Excellence 

We strive for excellence in all we do as an act of worship to God (Colossians 3:23–24).

Leadership Development

We raise leaders through spiritual maturity, character, and the leading of the Holy Spirit, from grassroots to district levels.
